Red Cow Restaurants were honored last Thursday, June 25, 2015, with a MSP Business Journal Eureka! Award. Red Cow's award-winning idea: Redefining "tavern" for the 21st century.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Eureka! Awards highlight 26 Minnesota innovators. Companies are for-profit enterprises and nonprofit organizations that bring new ideas to the table to better serve their clients, employees and communities and change the way others in their industries do business.
Red Cow was honored in this year's 2nd annual Eureka! Awards as one of two restaurants awarded.
As stated, the formula for their innovative spirit: take the burgers to a new level by combining unique ingredients, flavors and techniques; reinterpret the meaning of the word “tavern”; and package polished service, food and beverages with neighborhood ambiance.
Luke Shimp, president of Red Cow said “This is our definition of the 21st-century tavern. Our guests feel at home in our locations, and each has garnered a reputation as the neighborhood spot to hang out [with] friends and family, and as a place to gather for high-quality food and beverages. Red Cow has a high level of service. That’s something our guests regularly comment on and reward us for.”
