MINNEAPOLIS—Red Cow, the award-winning restaurant that puts a twist on the classic neighborhood tavern, receives a “Golden Ticket” to compete for burger supremacy at the World Food Championships in Las Vegas Nov. 12th.
Food Network star Ben Vaughn & host of the World Food Championships awards a few “Golden Tickets”, an endorsed invitation to compete. Red Cow received Ben’s “Golden Ticket” for the burger competition pitting Red Cow against 50 of America’s best burger culinarians.
The 2014 World Food Championships include: Barbecue, Chili, Sandwich, Burger, Dessert, Bacon, Recipe, Pasta & Seafood. Along with bragging rights, up to $100,000 is at stake. WFC takes place November 12th–18th in Las Vegas and will be aired on A&E’s fyi Network.

Shimp opened the first Red Cow location in Minneapolis, February 2013. A second location in St. Paul’s Cathedral Hill opened June 2014 and a third is slated for North Loop, February 2015. The eatery has seen an overwhelmingly positive response winning numerous accolades with its creative menu and atmosphere.
